A product that holds glitter in place, an adhesive for decorations and a positioning tool each serve a different purpose. Choosing them to suit your intended use makes creating your look easier.
Glitter Primer, Glitter Glue or petroleum jelly?
Glitter Primer is designed as a base that holds glitter makeup in place. Apply a thin layer to your chosen area, then gently pat cosmetic glitter on top, following each product’s instructions.
Glitter Glue is used for applications such as securing loose face gems and face pearls, as well as creating glitter tattoos. It is a different product from Glitter Primer. Check the adhesive’s instructions for suitable application areas and removal methods. We do not recommend Glitter Glue for children’s faces or large areas of skin.
Petroleum jelly is an option for small glitter details when you want more time to adjust the placement. For small glitter decorations on children’s faces, we recommend petroleum jelly rather than strong glitter glue. Always follow the glitter’s instructions and age recommendations too.
A brush helps you apply glitter with control
Magic Brush glitter makeup brushes help you apply your primer or adhesive and gently pat glitter into place. A brush makes it easier to use small amounts and build your look gradually.
Keep a separate brush for glitter to avoid accidentally transferring particles to the rest of your makeup. Clean brushes after use according to their care instructions and allow them to dry before storing.
