Face gems, also known as skin gems or face rhinestones, are decorative stones applied to the skin. Glitternisti’s face gems are sold loose, so you can place them individually to create any design you like. They require a separate adhesive suitable for the intended use.

Which face gems should I choose?

Combine face pearls and gems in one look
Face pearls add rounded, pearlescent details to your makeup. The faceted sparkle of gems and the soft sheen of pearls create different effects, so combining them adds variety to your design.

How to apply face gems and face pearls
To apply face gems, you’ll need a skin-safe adhesive suitable for the decorations. Glitternisti’s Glitter Glue is used to secure face gems, while the Magic Pick wax pencil makes it easier to pick up small gems and pearls.
Apply a small amount of glue to the areas of skin where you want to place the decorations. Follow the adhesive’s instructions and allow it to set as directed. Pick up a gem or pearl with the wax pencil and press it gently into place. For larger designs, work on a small area at a time.
Glitter Primer and Glitter Glue are different products: a primer designed for glitter makeup does not replace an adhesive suitable for securing gems. Check each product’s application and removal instructions before use.
Face gem makeup for parties, festivals and Halloween
Face gems make it easy to create a party look you can adapt to your style. A few gems add a little extra to everyday makeup, while a fuller arrangement is perfect for festivals, Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve.
